your name ingame VF-84_Darkstar (This is a desired name, yes?)

Your email: pr0teus14@hotmail.com

Your age: 24

Your skill level in the F4U and F6F: Better in the F4U but decent in the F6F. This would all be relative, however, since I've never been in a squadron before.

Do you speak english?: Yes, first language.

Do you have a mic?: Yes

What hardware do you have for this flightsim: x52 Pro stick on an AMD X2 system with a 4850 video card.

How long do you play this game?: I've been playing for 3 years now, and I play about an hour every couple of days.

any other things you want us to know? Never been in a squadron before, so I'm probably a gross rookie. I can fly, I can land most anything on a carrier, and I can shoot just about well enough to make an enemy mildly consider ceasing straight and level flight to evade. I want to learn the more proper ways to do all these things, though, and I'd love to experience some Navy carrier ops.

hello and greeting from VF-84, Grin

Thanks for showing intrest in joining our squad.
We are really searching pilots who like to fly F4U and F6F and other planes.
If i can ask what time-zone are you located in? Smiley

We will send you an email with further details as soon as possible.

Salute from VF-84_Kobak5 and VF-84_Ghost.

Time zone is Eastern (GMT-5) - I'm in Massachusetts. I've got no problem with flying the F6F or the F4U - I think my preference is for the F4U, but either one is great.

Maybe the only other relevant thing I should mention is that through the years, I have become acquainted with *some* but probably not much of the numerous little modifications and files that advanced IL2 players seem familiar with. I can use the FMB to some extent, but I'm largely new to things like skins, campaigns, and in-game things like complex engine management.

Hope that helps...

Welcome pilots. I'm an american flier, currently in transition, (moving) so it'd be some time before I catch you in game. Currently flying with a stick I pulled out, my proper flight gear it stored away.
